A friend of mine asked if I could make a card for her son who is turning 18 . Boy cards - too hard! What on earth would I put on an 18 year olds card. After some persuasion I said okay. He is into diving and she wanted some waves with bubbles. It is not particularly trendy . if you know what I mean, like graffiti 18 year old trendy, but he is not that kind of kid, so it should go down just fine. Monday, 11 June 2012. My poor little Westee Possil had to go to the Vets this morning. They think she has a torn ligament in her back leg. 00 is a lot of money to find.

This week on Make My Monday. We have a new theme this month over on Make My Monday. And as we are in February it just has to be Romance. So this week they are looking for Love Letters, something with script or verse. I am not to sure if I got this one just right! Whilst I was doing this card I had last months Craft Stamper on my desk and thought I would have a go using the cover stamp, what do you think? Anyway get yourself over to the Make My Monday.

For this card I used the large lace border. I mounted it onto a slightly wider length of black card. And attached it to my card using double sided tape. The bats are also a free download.

Spellbinders grand rectangle dies were used to cut a frame for Whispy. Extra embellishments added to the card were silver brads, jade satin r.

Today I want to share with you the beautiful card that I received for the January challenge from my Card Swap Group. The challenge was to use the shaving foam marbling technique, as well a background using an embossing folder. The sender of my wonderful card is the very talented Sue.
